The first Career Booster course is on Commercials and will focus on teaching you everything you need to know to become a successful Commerical actor. Featuring in a commercial can be incredibly lucrative for an actor, however, acting for commercials is its own niche with a specific set of skills required to successfully land that commercial audition.
Derek is a lecturer on the YAFTA Acting for Screen Diploma Course. Derek has taught for over twenty years in L.A. He has had a successful acting career, starring in three TV series, appearing in over one hundred commercials, as well as working as a casting director running casting sessions for thousands of actors.

There are so many opportunities in voice over work for actors, from films, to corporate work, radio and video games. Having the skillset to work as a voice over artist provides another revenue stream for your career as a multi-hyphenated artist. During this four week course, you will learn how to do voice overs for: Commercials, Radio Plays, Audiobook Narration, Animation and even Video Games..
