All of our Sheffield students follow a structured syllabus which has been carefully designed by an expert team comprising of graduates from the world’s top drama schools including London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), Central School of Speech and Drama (CSSD); Film & TV Agents and Occupational and Business Psychologists who specialise in assessment in selection.
Our syllabus is one of the most robust assessment processes offered in an academy of this nature and is open for all of our regular students to benefit from.
Our holistic style syllabus has been designed to develop a variety of skills required to work as a professional screen actor and is not simply focused on the skill of acting itself. Students will be prepared for all aspects of the acting industry to give them the best chance of success. All of these skills are transferable to the classroom, personal life and ultimately the working world.
We believe that the most appropriate way to assess progression is through continuous assessment of all aspects of the course. Therefore, students will not be assessed solely on an examination.
