Los Angeles Intensive programme
At YAFTA we are continuously working towards providing our students and graduates with industry insight to give them access to as many opportunities which can help them progress in their acting career. As such, we are delighted to announce the introduction of the Los Angeles Intensive programme as an optional opportunity for students who have completed our diploma (or are due to complete soon) or are agency represented artists.
NEW
acting and industry training in Hollywood
The LA intensive offers students a full week of acting and industry training in Hollywood, Los Angeles, in collaboration with the Hollywood Academy of Music and Art (HAMA).

Our first LA Intensive will be 21st - 26th August 2022.

The Los Angeles Intensive Programme will give students the opportunity to visit Los Angeles with other YAFTA members

The weekly schedule includes:

  • Meeting with an attorney to learn about visa requirements for actors who want to work in LA
  • Industry Meet and Greet panel event, the panel will consist of agent, manager and casting director
  • Acting sessions with tutors based in Hollywood
  • Auditioning in Los Angeles
  • Professional actors headshot session
  • Visit to Universal studios which is a working studio. This includes VIP backlot passes too
  • Paramount studio tour
  • Pay in instalments

Example timetable

FEES & AVAILABILITY
We are only able to accommodate 13 students on each trip.

Fees are £1350. (This includes all timetabled activities and catered lunches on days in sessions)

Fees do not include travel and accommodation costs, however HAMA are able to help with sourcing accommodation on a budget.
