In 2015, Rick Laxton took the leap to combine his work as a Casting Director with writing for Television. His debut screenplay went into development within the BBC Comedy Department, which lead to ‘The Pact’, a comedy drama he co-wrote being broadcast on BBC2 in September 2017. Rick is now developing several new original series with BBC Studios and other independent production companies.

This course provides an excellent opportunity to learn from a professional screenwriter who is currently writing for TV.
