We have very high standards for our teaching staff here at YAFTA. We pride ourselves on the benchmark that we have set for our teaching staff which ensures we maintain the excellent educational standards offered at YAFTA.
If you don’t meet the above requirements, you are still able to own and run a YAFTA Franchise, however, you must hire teachers that meet the YAFTA standards to teach classes at your academy.
The franchise business manager will oversee the management and running of the YAFTA franchise within the specified location. You will ensure that tutors with appropriate qualifications are hired to undertake the teaching of the syllabus in your academy and will ensure the operational efficiency of your team.
You will have an understanding of the acting industry through being an ex-actor yourself, having children in the industry or through working within the industry in some capacity.
You will have business experience and understand the requirements of running a business including people management skills.
Starting a new business can be a daunting task. However, fear not, as the team at YAFTA Head Office are here to support you every step of the way. As a franchisee, you will have access to full support on every aspect of running your franchise from accounting & finance, marketing & advertising, recruiting teachers, publicity, administration.

Successful applicants will be required to attend a one week training course at our YAFTA Head Office in Leeds which take place twice a year.
