David trained at LAMDA and has worked professionally as an actor for fifteen years across stage and screen. He also has BA in Drama from the University of Hull and an MA in creative practice from the University of Leeds. Recent professional screen credits include The Moorside for the BBC, feature films Dark River and The Rise, and commercials for Johnstone’s Paint and Northern Rail.

David has also performed at the West Yorkshire Playhouse, The BAC and many other Off-West End theatres and played in several productions of Shakespeare. He has appeared in numerous short and independent festival films.

David is an integral part of the YAFTA team having worked with the organisation since the very beginning and continues to enjoy teaching the academy’s actors in training
