Charlotte is an award winning businesswoman and the Managing Director of YAFTA, YAFTA Talent Agency and YAFTA Consultancy. She has worked as both a TV presenter and actress, having had roles in Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Happy Valley.

Charlotte is a member of the Media Ethics Advisory Board of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and has conducted advisory work with the BBC and MTV regarding their duty of care processes for on-screen talent. As part of her work with the BPS Media Ethics Board, Charlotte has been heavily involved in the changes to duty of care processes in the Film & TV industry including contributing to; the code of conduct for psychologists working in the media and the duty of care guidelines for the Producers Alliance for Cinema and Television (PACT).
In addition to her work in the film & TV industry, Charlotte is a doctoral counselling psychologist in training, currently working in the NHS. Charlotte uses her unique skill set and experience as a psychologist to help those in the performance industry. Additionally, she is passionate about using the arts to help to improve mental wellbeing. Charlotte’s industry and psychological experience have been instrumental in the development of the structured syllabus and assessment processes delivered by YAFTA which not only equip students with the necessary skill and tools to work in the industry, but also prepares them psychologically for the demands of working in the film & TV industry.
