Alannah Halay

Dr Alannah Marie Halay has been working as an actor since she was nine years old. She currently trains at YAFTA and has previously undertaken graded Guildhall examinations. She achieved a Distinction in her Grade 8 (Gold Medal) LAMDA qualification and is currently training for her LAMDA Certificate in Speech and Drama (PCertLAM). Alannah has worked in film, theatre, radio, and television. Some of her recent projects include the horror films DEMON EYE (Quickfoot Films) and COVEN OF EVIL (Macabre Pictures) both released in America.

Alannah is a qualified University lecturer (AFHEA) with a PhD in Composition and works as a part of the team at YAFTA. Alannah’s work for YAFTA includes student liaison and mentoring our diploma students. She also works as part of the YAFTA Talent Agency team, helping our clients to secure work in films, TV dramas and soaps, commercials, corporate projects and voiceover work.
