YAFTA Acting for Screen YOUTH Diploma
The course is suitable for those ged 11 to 16 years of age who are passionate about pursuing careers as professional screen actors. Actors who are already agency represented but wish to develop their skills to enable them to secure more work.

STRUCTURED SYLLABUS
Our students follow a structured syllabus which has been designed by a team of graduates from the world’s top drama schools including; RADA, LAMDA, Central School of Speech and Drama, ALRA and LIPA, and Occupational and Business Psychologists who specialise in assessment and selection, specifically, the design and delivery of examination processes.
COURSE OBJECTIVE

This course has been designed to work alongside mainstream education and family life to allow those who are passionate about pursuing a career as a screen actor to do so with a reputable company without affecting their education.

BLENDED LEARNING
This is a blended learning course requiring 3 full contact days per month, which run on either Saturdays, Sundays at our studio in Leeds. In addition to homework set by tutors, there is a distance learning aspect of the course which must be completed.
CERTIFICATIONS
Throughout the course, students will work on developing their craft as well as their industry skills knowledge and experience. Students will be required to pass the YAFTA Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Certifications in Screen Acting in order to achieve the full diploma award. The ultimate aim of the course is to develop students’ acting skills to an exceptional level, at which stage they will be offered representation by YAFTA Talent Agency (PMA). Additionally the course aims to build upon the skill of our young actors who are already represented to give them the best chances of succeeding in auditions and essentially, securing mainstream film and television roles.
