This course has been designed to work alongside careers and family life to allow those who are passionate about pursuing a career as a screen actor to do so with a reputable company without too much disruption to daily life.

Our students follow a structured syllabus which has been designed by a team of graduates from the world’s top drama schools including; RADA, LAMDA, Central School of Speech and Drama, ALRA and LIPA, and Occupational and Business Psychologists who specialise in assessment and selection, specifically, the design and delivery of examination processes.

This is a blended learning course requiring 3 full contact days per month, which run on either Saturday, Sunday, Monday or Tuesday at our studio in Leeds. Each cohort will attend on the same day for the first three weeks of every month. In addition to the contact hours, there is a distance learning aspect of the course and mentoring programme which must be completed.

For the first 15 months, students will work predominantly on developing their craft and will be required to pass the YAFTA Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced Certifications in Screen Acting.

There will be some overlap of your acting training and industry training in the last 6 months. For the last 6 months of the course, in addition to completing the advanced certification you will be working intensely towards your career as an actor under the guidance of a mentor who will be advising you regularly on the next steps that you need to take in order to start working as a professional actor.
